Up for auction or purchase is a rare, authentic 1930s Tin Lithograph Wind-Up Streamline Race Car manufactured by Chime Toy Products in Canada. This 12.5-inch land-speed record-style racer is a fantastic piece of pre-war toy history and remains in great mechanical shape.

Key Features & Completeness:

- Mechanism: Tested and Working! The clockwork wind-up motor functions smoothly.

- Driver: Original integrated green tin driver figure is present and securely attached.

- Wheels: Features all four original factory wooden wheels and axles intact.

- Body Style: Beautifully styled Art Deco red streamline body with classic fender coverings.

Condition Report:
This toy is in honest, vintage "played-with" condition. The body is structurally excellent with NO major dents or crushed panels, keeping its iconic aerodynamic shape perfectly intact. The original red paint/litho finish shows typical surface scratches, minor paint loss, and small spots of superficial rust/patina from age. Please review the high-resolution photos closely to inspect the paint wear.

Shipping & Handling:

The toy will be packed with professional care, using ample bubble wrap to ensure the fragile wooden wheels and tin chassis are completely protected during transit. Fully insured shipping with tracking included.

As a collector myself, I know how critical box condition is. We specialize in high-end antique toy shipping. This item will be wrapped in bubble wrap if possible, if not tissue paper will be used.  Toy will be placed safely inside a box, and then double-boxed inside a heavy-duty outer shipping carton surrounded by packing peanuts.  This will eliminate any risk of crushing or transit wear. Fully tracked and insured delivery.

Please view all the pictures to be sure you are buying what you expect.  Antique & Vintage toys are expected to have age-related imperfections that add character.
